Happy Birthday Maddox!

Maddox turned one!! Maddox is a wonderful, determined and happy baby. We are so blessed to have him and love to watch him grow. Miles loves having a playing partner and Maddox tries to be just like his big brother.

Catching Up

I know, I have been a terrible blogger lately. Our computer broke and we finally got a new one, but it has taken me some time to get back to blogging. Since no one really wants to read what I write anyways, I will put a few pictures up from the last couple of months, then will hopefully be back on track to staying up to date! And, if you can't tell, the only way I can Miles to even look towards the camera is to tell him to give 'peace', which is why is has a 'peace' sign in every picture of him.

Miles turns 3!!

Happy Birthday Miles!!! My baby has turned three! It seems a little sad that he is growing up so fast. I can't believe he is really 3 years old! Rhett said to him the other day 'I don't want you to keep getting bigger, I love you as my little baby' and he says "Sorry Dad, but I'm growing up".
For his birthday he got to pick what he wanted to do and he picked StarWars, his latest favorite thing. So we watched Return of the Jedi, he has seen episodes 3 and 4, but hadn't seen 6. He had a good time and loved getting presents. Happy birthday Miles!

Maddox's GAP tooth

I know some kids have a gap in between their front two teeth, but I think Maddox has to have the BIGGEST gap I have ever seen. I'm not sure this picture even does it justice. It used to surprise me every time I saw him smile, but now I have gotten used to it and think of how cute it makes him.

Here are just a few random pictures. Maddox LOVES to eat and will eat anything you give him, but he is rather messy while doing it.

The Beach

We spent the 4th of July at St. Simon's. We had a blast. Since we were only there for the weekend, we wanted to take full advantage of our time there, so we went to the beach ALL day Friday and Saturday, and stayed on the beach for fireworks Saturday night. Miles loved every minute of it. He loved the tide pools and floating in them, skimboarding with Rhett and playing in the sand. Maddox really like eating the sand the best, but he also really like the water. It was a great trip for everyone.
